This Begins Lesson 2


Editing a Photograph with Paint Shop Pro's Powerful Tools!

In the first photo I edited, I will give a brief description of what technique I applied. The thumbnail of the actual photo will be displayed. If you want to see the photo in it's full size, click on the thumbnail. Use your browser's back button to return.

1 - This is the original photograph. (Nice bike, huh?) This was taken with a digital camera.2 - Being so dark, I applied gamma correction to lighten the photo.3 - Then I resized the photo, to make it fit into the monitor screen.4 - I wasn't happy with the color detail, so I applied the RGB color adjustments.

5 - Still not pleased with the coloring, I used the Histogram stretch.6 - To dress it up, I did a buttonize.7 - I added borders to give more frame to the picture.8 - Then I added a text description to the picture.

9 - Last, but not least, I reduced the colors to speed the loading. And this is the final picture.
